Return of the Plankton

“Seasons change even underwater…the journey begins in spring when a plankton bloom provides nourishment for filter feeders. In summer a variety of creatures are swimming, eating and spawning. Fall is a perfect time to explore the kelp forest. Over winter fish guard their eggs until early spring, when the plankton return.”
